Botanical background

Neltuma glandulosa, formerly Prosopis glandulosa, commonly known as honey mesquite, is a species of small to medium-sized, thorny shrub or tree in the legume family (Fabaceae).

  • Steep 1–2 tsp of dried Mezquite (Mesquite) in freshly boiled water for 5–10 minutes.
  • Cover while steeping.
  • Strain and drink.

  • Pack dried Mezquite (Mesquite) into a jar and cover with 40–60% alcohol.
