Heuchera americana, or American alumroot, is a small (under 2 ft. high and wide) evergreen perennial native to eastern and central North America in the Saxifrage family.

  • Add 1–2 tsp of dried Alumroot to 2 cups of cold water.
  • Bring to a boil, then simmer for 15–20 minutes.
  • Strain and drink warm.

  • Pack dried Alumroot into a jar and cover with 40–60% alcohol.
