Botanical background
Crataeva magna is a small wild or cultivated tree native to India, China, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Burma, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, and Malaysia. It is often found along streams, also in dry, deep boulder formations in Sub-Himalayan tracts.
