Caper (Kebbar) (Capparis spinosa) is a herb used in the North African & Amazigh Medicine tradition to help with Arthritis, Liver Support, Kidney Support, and Digestive Issues. The aerial parts and leaves are the parts traditionally used, taken internally.

Botanical background

Capparis spinosa, the caper bush, also called Flinders rose, is a perennial plant that bears rounded, fleshy leaves and large white to pinkish-white flowers.

  • Steep 1–2 tsp of dried Caper (Kebbar) in freshly boiled water for 5–10 minutes.
  • Cover while steeping.

  • Pack dried Caper (Kebbar) into a jar and cover with 40–60% alcohol.
